Spyderco - Sage 5 - Cool Grey - Maxamet PE

The spyderco Sage 5's light weight and high-quality construction make it an ideal EDC (Every Day Carry) knife.

The drop point blade is made of Maxamet steel. This is a powder tool steel developed through Micro- Melt technology. Maxamet is known as one of the hardest steels in the world and has almost no resistance while cutting. The cutting edge retains its sharpness for a very long time and is hardened to a rockwell 67/68. The blade is further equipped with the already famous Spyderco hole for a one-handed opening.

The Sage 5 features injection-molded, fiberglass-reinforced nylon (FRN) scales. These scales not only make the knife surprisingly light, but have a fantastic grip due to the integrated pattern.

The knife features a Compression Lock™ mechanism, reversible deep-pocket pocket clip and a lanyard eye.
