The rustproof blade is made of 8Cr13MoV steel. A type of steel with excellent toughness and very good resharpenability.
The blade is a half serrated Spyderedge, making this knife perfect for heavier tasks such as cutting through fibrous material.

This lightweight variant features an injection-molded, fiberglass-reinforced nylon (FRN) handle. This handle not only makes the knife surprisingly light but has a fantastic grip due to the integrated pattern.
