Spyderco - Para 3 - Blue - CPM SPY27 PE

The Spyderco Para 3 is a smaller version of the immensely popular Para Military 2.

The blade is made of CPM SPY27 steel. This type of steel specially made for Spyderco is known for its hardness and sharpness retention. The blade is further equipped with the well known Spyderco hole for a one-handed opening.

The Para 3 is equipped with a Compression Lock™ mechanism. Although often confused as a "LinerLock on the back of the handle, the Compression Lock is actually totally different. It works opposite of a LinerLock. This patented mechanism is also considerably stronger than most LinerLocks, and the location of this lock makes the knife safe to close with one hand without putting your fingers in the way of the cutting edge.

The handle is made of textured G10, which is a composite material with excellent abrasion resistance, a firm grip (even in wet conditions) and a subtle but luxurious appearance.

The knife is equipped with a four-position pocket clip and a lanyard eye.
