    The Samura Okinawa Yanagiba is a traditional Japanese kitchen knife suitable for professional use.

    The blade is made of AUS-8 steel. This originally Japanese steel is known for its toughness and sharpness. Because the blade is hollow ground, no products stick to it.

    The handle is made of wood combined with plastic and has a flattened section so it fits more delicately in the hand.

    The Yanagiba is used for filleting fish and preparing sushi and sashimi.

    The knife will last the longest if not cleaned in the dishwasher.
