Valhal Outdoor - Cover for Skillet Handle

Cast iron is a material that retains heat very well and thus can get very hot. To make sure that you can cook a little easier with your cast iron skillets with handle, without compromising its sturdy character, Valhal Outdoor has developed the VH.SLEEVE. A genuine leather cover for around the handle of your skillet. It fits Valhal Outdoor's skillets with handle, but actually any skillet handle of similar dimensions.

After cooking, easily slide the VH.SLEEVE over the handle of your skillet for easy movement. Although the sleeve is not meant to be left on while cooking with or in high temperatures, you can leave it on during storage. There is a hole in the VH.SLEEVE so you can still hang your skillet easily and not lose your sleeve!

Because the VH.SLEEVE is made of real leather, you can take care of it by greasing it from time to time. You can use the VH.WAX for this purpose. Through use and lubrication, the VH.SLEEVE becomes slightly darker in color, but as with all leather products, this gives it more character.
