The Benchmade Bugout Burnt Brass is a real go-getter, a pocket knife that exceeds expectations.

The drop point blade is made of M390 steel, this steel developed for use in dies has extremely high wear resistance. Due to the improvement of the alloy compared to its predecessor K190, M390 has a higher corrosion resistance but without sacrificing hardness or wear resistance.

The blade is finished with a Battlewash DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) coating. This coating not only gives the knife an attractive appearance. DLC also has several positive effects on the blade, namely reducing friction and increasing wear resistance. This keeps the blade protected longer and thus beautiful. The Bugout is equipped with thumb studs (turquoise colored) this makes it easy to open the knife.

The Axis lock is a manual sliding mechanism that locks the blade.
