Benchmade - Fishcrafter 9"
The Benchmade fishcrafter is is a premium filleting knife developed as a reliable companion for any fisherman. Its unique blade shape and razor-sharp blade ensure that this knife is suitable for all tasks from simple slicing to filleting and boning. Inspired by the Pacific Northwest and made to withstand the harshest elements, The Water Collection exists to help you explore the wilderness that lies beneath the surface - to stay out longer and go deeper.
The blade is made of CPM-Magnacut. This high-end steel has a toughness and sharpness retention that is almost unmatched, while the corrosion resistance is also excellent. The blade is razor-sharp, making it ideal for heavy-duty cutting tasks, and is ground to a SelectEdge (the blade is ground at a 17° angle). The satin stonewash finish not only gives the blade a unique look but also excellent reflection reduction. To keep the knife nice and sharp for as long as possible it is advised not to leave the knife in water for a long time and to wipe the knife with the included cloth after use. The handle of the fishcrafter is made of Santoprene, which is a rubberized plastic. A non-slip material that in combination with the ergonomic handle ensures that this knife is firmly in the hand at all times.
The included sheath protects the knife from external influences. To ensure that the knife cannot fall out of the sheath, it is self-locking. The sheath can be attached with the belt loop or the mounting eyes.
Water environments can be unpredictable. Water Class knives are designed to withstand heavy use and cut with precision. You'll never leave shore without one.
