The large blade is made of D2 Staal, this steel type is known for its exceptional toughness and is one of the best all-round steels. Furthermore, the blade is finished with a titanium coating, this improves the cutting properties of the knife and makes the steel more corrosion resistant.

The prohen has a so -called XR lock, this is a manual sliding mechanism that locks the blade.

The handle is made of textured G10, this is a composite material with excellent wear resistance, a sturdy grip (even in wet conditions) and a subtle but luxurious appearance.
