The Spyderco Minarai Bunka Bocho is a large format universal knife of traditional Japanese design, suitable for professional use.

The Minarai series was designed by world-renowned knife maker Murray Carter, the official heir to a 420-year-old Japanese knife factory. With this series, Murray Carter translates his coveted handmade designs into affordably produced knives.

The beautifully designed blade is made of CTS BD1N stainless steel, this relatively new type of steel has excellent properties. For example, it has exceptional hardness without becoming brittle and can be easily sharpened, ideal for kitchen use.
