Due Cigni - Coquus - Santoku Damascus
The Due Cigni Coquus Santoku knife is suitable for almost all cutting tasks, but is perfect for slicing, dicing and fine chopping of herbs, for example.
A santoku knife, also known as a three dug knife, is the Japanese version of a (French) chef's knife and is therefore also a universal knife.
From the knife capital of Italy (Maniago), Due Cigni has been producing kitchen knives and scissors with passion and an eye for quality since 1896. Inspired by the Maniago line (designed by founder Oreste Frati), the Coquus connects the tradition of the region with craftsmanship and high-quality materials.
The blade is made of elegant Balbach damask, this eye-catching damask inspired by the natural drawings of wood. This German steel also has excellent properties for a kitchen knife.
The handle is made of ergonomically shaped Granadillo wood. The satin finish of the handle allows the wood to speak without losing its delicate subtlety and will develop a natural patina during its life.
The bolster of the knife and the retention pin are both finished in bronze anodized titanium.
The knife comes with a leather sheath and a deluxe gift box. The knife will last the longest if not cleaned in the dishwasher.
The Coquus, the jewel of the kitchen.
