Light My Fire - Firesteel Bio Scout - Rusty Orange

The Firesteels were originally developed specifically for the Swedish Army. It is the first fire starter made of Magnesium in the form of a rod. It allows you to produce sparks averaging 3,000°C using the included stainless steel scraper. A Firesteel Scout is good for 3,000 strikes and a Firesteel Army 12,000 strikes.

It performs even at extreme altitudes with oxygen-poor air, and it works equally well when wet. Use for countless applications from lighting a gas stove to starting a campfire. Also equipped with an emergency whistle in the scraper. An essential kit for survival, hunting, sport fishermen and campers.

This product is made from biobased plastic. With an eye toward a better future, Light My Fire will use only biobased plastic to manufacture their products starting in 2019. “Biobased” refers to materials made from biomass extracted from plant resources such as corn, sugarcane and cellulose. The biobased range can be recognized by the new colors of natural, soft, earthy and peaceful tones. In terms of packaging, 100% recyclable or reusable materials have also been chosen.
