Fällkniven - Northern Light Model Odin - Leather Sheath

The blade is of laminated VG10 steel, where the edge is made of our now well-known VG10 steel and the sides consist of hard, all-stainless 420J2 steel. This combination is definitely the best, as all conceivable and desired properties such as resilience, resistance to torsion and edges and durability are combined in one knife.

The handle consists of specially selected ox-hide: unfortunately a material usually overlooked by manufacturers, but it provides a sure and firm grip. As the years pass, the leather takes on an attractive brown color. It is not affected by oil and solvents and is impervious to water. Dryness may cause glints on the handle, but they disappear when the knife is oiled.

Therefore, we are proud to present the 2nd model in our new Northern Lights Series - NL2 Oden.

Along with Thor, the one-eyed Oden (or Wodan) is considered the supreme god in Norse sagas. He was the father of the gods and of mankind, riding his eight-legged horse Sleipner. Accompanied by his bearers of knowledge, the two ravens Hugin and Munin, he was the undisputed ruler of Valhalla.
