Fällkniven - F1Pro Elmax - Zytel Sheath

The Fällkniven F1Pro Elmax Survival Knife is the logical endpoint of the F1 Design.

The F1 has been the official survival knife for pilots within the Swedish Air Force since 1995. A professional survival knife must work in all weather conditions, and we really mean all. It must also be comfortable, safe and easy to handle, whether it is used for fine or rugged work, in desert heat or polar cold.

A knife you can rely on when a demanding situation arises. The blade is made of Elmax powder steel, powder steel is very difficult to work with and requires advanced technology combined with experienced knife makers. The advantage of this steel lies in its excellent strength and cutting edge retention.

The handle is made of Thermorun, a durable synthetic polymer. Not only does this make the knife surprisingly light, but its co-molded texture gives the handle a fantastic grip in all weather conditions.

The Zytel sheath has a two-way locking system that holds the knife securely in the sheath, locking it 100% securely in place.
