The drop point blade is made of CPM-20CV, This type of steel is known for its Sharpness retention and excellent corrosion resistance. Furthermore, it is finished with a satin stonewash texture; this provides a modern matted look.

The Bugout is equipped with an AXIS locking mechanism that locks the blade with the reliability you have come to expect from Benchmade.
