Benchmade - Adira
The Benchmade Adira is an EDC pocket knife for intensive use when adventure takes you to water environments. It cuts rope, maintains gear and tackles all your tasks around the water. The lightweight frame is reinforced with a corrosion-resistant, anodized aluminum back spacer for an easy-to-carry, easy-to-clean, water-resistant EDC. Inspired by the Pacific Northwest and made to withstand the harshest elements, The Water Collection exists to help you explore the wilderness that lies beneath the surface - to stay out longer and go deeper.
The blade is made of CPM-Magnacut. This high-end steel has a toughness and sharpness retention that is almost unmatched, while the corrosion resistance is also excellent. The edge is razor sharp making this knife perfect for heavier cutting tasks. The satin stonewash finish not only gives the blade a unique look, but also excellent reflection reduction. To keep the knife beautiful and sharp for as long as possible, it is advised not to leave the knife in water for long periods of time and to wipe the knife with the included cloth after use.
The Adira has a so-called AXIS® lock, which is a manual sliding mechanism that locks the blade. The handle is made of Grivory, a durable synthetic polymer. This handle makes the knife not only surprisingly light, but also has a fantastic grip in all weather conditions due to the molded pronounced pattern.
The Adira features a reversible carrying clip and lanyard. Water environments can be unpredictable. The Water Class blades are designed to withstand heavy use and cut with precision. You'll never leave shore without one.
